Yin yoga is the opposite yang, which is energy, heat, stimulation, etc.

Yin is about rest, cooling the system, and coming inward, and bringing your nervous system back to your baseline.

Yin is not about stretching your muscles or flexibility; it is about fascia, ligaments, tendons, and joining tissues in the body.

You do not need to be flexible or be “into yoga” to enjoy this class.

Our emotions, stress, and life's events are stored in the body, whether we realize it or not. This practice can gently release some of this, and reset your nervous system to a calm state.

The soundbath played throughout with crystal singing bowls will bring your body into deep rest, and your mind into a THETA brain wave state (which is just above REM sleep.)

There are also chimes, handpans, Native American flutes, and an ocean drum. Alchemy for the body and soul.
